Adult Nerf Night
Lock and load, Grand Island! We aren’t talking about the neon-colored darts you find under your couch cushions from three years ago. This is Nerf Rival Night at Hybrid Defense. We’re combining the high-octane fun of foam-blasting competition with real-world tactical training. For two hours, the dojo transforms into a tactical arena where teens (13+) and adults face off in skill-based drills, weapon retention scenarios, and heart-pounding team competitions.
Whether you’re a martial arts veteran or just looking for a unique family night out, this event is designed to sharpen your reflexes and teach you how to move with purpose.
Nerf Parents Night Out
When: Friday, August 14, 2026 | 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM
Where:Hybrid Defense, 359 Lang Blvd, Grand Island, NY 14072
What: A 2-hour blast featuring elite Nerf wars and essential firearm safety education.
Who: Kids ages 5 to 12 (all skill levels welcome!)
Cost: $30 ($50 for a family)
Gear: Kids must bring their own Nerf gun. We provide the darts and safety goggles!
Summer Day Camps
Summer is almost here, Grand Island! While the sun is shining and the school bells have finally stopped ringing, parents everywhere are asking the same question: “How do I keep my kids active, engaged, and, most importantly, off their screens?”
At Hybrid Defense, we have the answer. And no, it’s not just about "staying busy." It’s about growing. It’s about building a foundation that lasts long after the summer tan fades.

Halloween Bash
Our Halloween safety seminar teaches children and parents how to have a fun and safe trick-or-treating experience. An essential component of the event is a discussion on stranger danger, emphasizing that kids should never enter a stranger's home or car, even if they are invited inside for a treat. Children are taught to only visit well-lit homes, remain on the porch, and always be accompanied by a trusted adult.
